What's Social Media Optimization?

Social Media Optimization (SMO) is the process of using your social media channels as a catalyst to grow your company's online presence. Most companies tend to view social media profiles for their business as a necessary evil. They believe simply by having an Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter account, they're where their customers are and that's all they need to do. WRONG. SMO is about strategically creating, building, and maximizing your social media plan to connect to your target audience.

Why is SMO important?

Social Media Optimization is important for two reasons: 1) It helps your Search Engine Optimization, and 2) If done wrongly, it can actually hurt your brand.

4. Determine your Posting Schedule

The second part is determining your frequency. We generally suggest the following.
